LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — Police are searching for suspects after they say a woman was shot Friday night while leaving Fayette Mall.
According to police, she was shot near Nicholasville Road and Wilson Downing, while driving away from the mall in her car.

They say they believe she was targeted specifically and not shot by accident.
Police say her injuries are life-threatening and she was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Officers are searching for a black sedan that the suspect or suspects may be driving.
