POWELL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- If you’re a Rumpke Waste and Recycling customer your garbage might get picked up early Monday.
The company asks its customers to put cans out early so employees can collect them then attend the funeral of co-worker, David Burgess.
The 57-year-old driver crashed and died last week in Clay City.
If you put out your trash by midnight Monday morning Rumpke says employees will be able to pick it up before Burgess’ funeral.
His visitation is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Grayson FH Chapel in Clay City. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. at Longview Cemetery in Bethel.
