LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) -Even though the season opens up at an away game, one of the best spots to watch is at Kroger Field.
Football fans gathered at the Woodford Reserve Club at Kroger Field to watch the cats on the field’s jumbo-trons and several projector screens, and the best part about these alums enjoying the game is that they are also helping out current students.
“It takes a community to help out with these scholarship fundraisers. Its not the Fayette County UK Alumni Club, its not the National UK Alumni Club, it takes the community of Lexington so, I am ecstatic I am very pleased, everybody is having a great time and you know go cats, cats by 19. Be patient we’re going to win.”
All proceeds from the party will go directly to the Fayette County UK Alumni Club Scholarship Fund to help support local students attending UK.
