CYNTHIANA, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Cynthiana woman was killed late Friday morning in a collision with a semi, according to the Harrison County coroner.
Investigators say 38-year old Melissa Snapp Gammon was pronounced dead at the scene. She was alone in the car involved in the accident, according to the coroner.
She died of blunt force trauma, according to the coroner.
The collision happened around 11:00 a.m. on New Lair Road, just past the National Guard Armory in Cynthiana, according to the coroner.
The road was temporarily closed while accident reconstruction specialists tried to determine who the deadly crash happened, according to the coroner.
