29-year-old Christopher Mason is accused of planning out the staged robbery, which deputies say was executed by Cornelius and Masters. Detectives say Mason is charged with robbery. They say deputies found meth, pills, marijuana and cash when he was arrested December 7, which led to additional charges.

According to investigators, Masters is charged with robbery.

The sheriff’s office says Cornelius is facing several charges, including robbery and domestic violence. He’s also accused of assaulting a police officer. Investigators say he was combative and kicked a K-9 during his arrest. In addition, detectives say Cornelius assaulted his girlfriend in front of her five children.

Deputies say when they went to arrest Cornelius, they also found 52-year-old Jeff Gregory. Deputies accuse him of helping an armed robbery suspect hide from authorities.
