FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Franklin County Sheriff says three people are behind bars after detectives caught them in the middle of a methamphetamine deal.
The Sheriff says a home on Conway Street was under surveillance, with detectives gathering information on a suspected drug dealer there.
Detectives say they eventually saw there suspect, 30-year-old Steven Bowman, come out of the home and meet a vehicle that had pulled up out front.
When detectives came closer to investigate, they say they found methamphetamine in plain sight.
Detectives arrested Bowman, along with 28-year-old Joie Beth Craig, and 29-year-old Phillip Lee Sapp. Inside the vehicle, investigators say they found over an ounce of methamphetamine, with a street value estimated at around $2,500 dollars.
