LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Funeral services are today for Kentucky basketball legend Ed Davender.
Davender died last week after suffering a massive heart attack.

He played for the Wildcats from 1984 to 1988.
Davender finished his career ranked 11th on the all-time scorer’s list.
When it was discovered that Davender had a heart murmur, it ended any possibility of a pro career.
Davender died at 49.
His visitation will be held today at the First Baptist Chuch Bracktown, starting at 10:00 a.m.
The funeral will follow at 1:00 p.m.
Davender will be buried at the Lexington Cemetery.
