BEREA, Ky. (WTVQ) – Officers in Berea say they are looking for a red pickup truck after a hit and run in Berea that took the life of one man.
Officers say they received a call Friday night at 11:56 p.m. about a man lying in the road at the intersection of Prospect Street and Forest Street. When they found the man, they learned he had been hit by a vehicle. The Madison Co. Coroner pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Continuing the investigation, officers now suspect they are looking for a red pickup truck with damage to the front driver side. They also say the truck likely has rust spots. Investigators say they do not have a make or model, but that the truck was last seen in the area of Big Hill Road minutes after the collision.
