LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say a man suffered life-threatening injuries after he was hit by a car Tuesday around 9:45 p.m., on Nicholasville Road at Tahoma Road.
Officers say the man was hit by the car, then flipped over it and into a Lextran bus. Police say the people on the bus were interviewed by investigators before being transferred to a different bus.
The victim’s name wasn’t immediately released. Investigators say the driver of the car did stop and remained at the scene until police arrived.

Police expect Nicholasville Road to reopen by midnight.
