LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Thousands of outdoors enthusiasts are expected when boats and RVs fill the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville next week.
The Courier-Journal (http://cjky.it/1AW4N7A ) says 40,000 are expected for the annual Louisville Boat, RV & Sportshow Jan. 21 to 25.
Nearly 200 exhibitors will be showing outdoor gear and items of interest, and 2015 fishing, hunting and sports licenses and elk permits will have a one-stop place for pickup.
The show promotional material says it will offer a chance to try stand-up paddle boarding, canoeing and kayaking at Paddlefest.
Young people can learn to identify venomous snakes with the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources’ help or try fishing at a catch-and-release trout pond.
Admission is $12 for adults, while children under 15 and active military with ID are free.
