Protesters Block Roads Saturday In Downtown Lexington

Protests got spirited in Lexington Saturday night.

Hundreds of people marched and took part Saturday night. We caught up with one of the group’s organizers who said they weren’t rioting but wanted people to be outside their comfort zone.

Protests of the like have popped up across the U.S. in recent weeks, first spurred on by a decision not to indict in the case of Ferguson, Missouri officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of unarmed black teen Michael Brown.

More recently a New York City officer was not indicted after Eric Garner was put in a choke hold during his arrest and died.
